Hi! My name is Olga Gogulya — I am a watercolor artist in love with nature and travel.
My path into art began in childhood: I graduated from art school, but at first life took me into the world of economics and management. Still, the artist’s inner voice grew louder and louder — and almost ten years ago I returned to painting as my true calling.
Watercolor became my language. I work with professional materials: 100% cotton paper, the best paints, fine brushes. This lets me convey the mood of nature, light and air with particular depth and subtlety. I keep learning all the time — taking courses, trying new techniques, experimenting a lot.
On inspiration
I find inspiration in travel and movement. I love the road — whether it is a trip to Europe or a walk along the bank of my home river. Every trip brings fresh impressions, new colours and subjects that later come to life on paper. This is the rhythm my works are born in — with love for the world, attention to detail and a desire to share beauty.
Besides painting, I love an active lifestyle: I drive, ride jet skis, snowmobiles and bikes, ski, and have even learned wakeboarding and surfing on real ocean waves! I also sing — and I am taking vocal lessons now, because for me creativity is not limited to one art form.
