Description
“Before the Storm” was painted at a plein air in Kyrgyzstan. Here is how it happened. We went to paint in a picturesque spot and climbed uphill for a long time. There was not a single cloud in the sky! When we reached our destination and set out all our painting gear, clouds suddenly rolled in, thunder began to rumble and the rain poured down. Our group barely managed to pack everything into our backpacks and put on raincoats to go home and finish the painting. The work was completed from a photo, with very special memories!
