Description
An old leafless tree in close-up: the fork of the trunk, knots, thin branches reaching beyond the edge of the sheet. The background is almost empty and warm.
What interested me here was not beauty but character — how the tree grew, where it broke, where it healed. In winter you can see this best, when the leaves do not distract.
A vertical work, 42×60 cm. A restrained, graphic piece — it looks good in a study and in a modern interior with light walls.
