Description
A bend in the river draws the eye into the distance; along the banks are meadows, and far away the silhouettes of churches and village roofs. Summer, lots of greenery, a high bright sky.
The river is the main line of the composition here: it leads from the bottom edge straight to the horizon, and the landscape reads like a road.
Horizontal format, 28×38 cm. A calm, “breathing” piece for a living room or study.
